Organizing

SIREN believes that immigrants and refugees themselves are the primary agents of change. We organize, mobilize, and provide community education to increase civic engagement and empowerment.

Civic Engagement

Our first goal is to increase civic participation among immigrants and youth through voter registration & education. Our second goals is to shift the political landscape in Northern California and the Central Valley by mobilizing the immigrant and youth vote in elections.

Policy Advocacy

With the input of clients and emerging community leaders, we shape policies that protect immigrant rights and directly benefits their lives.

Early Childhood Systems
Navigation Program

In partnership with First 5 Fresno County, this program was created to connect migrant families in Fresno County with essential child development and health services. The families we serve are primarily SIREN clients seeking asylum, refugees, or those in need of immigration legal support.

Through this program, we offer direct support to help families access housing, food, furniture, and early childhood education. We also provide guidance to ensure healthy pregnancies and support the developmental milestones of children ages 0-5. This program is only available in Central Valley.
