TPS training offered by SIREN's Supervising Attorney Shouan Riahi. It will go over the details of the TPS application. The training is on Friday, March 9 and encourage anyone interested in the TPS application process to join us.

Shouan Zhoobin Riahi, Esq., Supervising Attorney with Services, Immigrant Rights and
Education Network (SIREN).
Shouan is leading the expansion of SIREN's Removal Defense Program and provide
high quality legal representation to immigrants and refugees living in the Northern and
Central California and beyond.
As the child of political refugees from the Islamic Republic of Iran, Shouan was brought
up to be politically aware and cognizant of each citizen's duty to defend the ideals of
justice and human dignity. After graduating from high school, Shouan attended Bentley
University in Waltham, Massachusetts where he studied economics. After college,
Shouan attended New York University School of Law, where he focused on issues
related to economic justice, civil rights, immigrant's rights, and racial justice. During his
time at NYU, Shouan was privileged to work with the Immigrant Rights Clinic, where he
represented individuals in removal proceedings before the immigration court in New
York City.
Along with speaking Farsi he speaks Spanish fluently having lived in Central America
after law school. Upon returning from Central America, Shouan accepted a position at
Central American Legal Assistance ("CALA") in Brooklyn, NY, where he spent 5 years
representing Central and South American refugees in their removal proceedings.
