The Liberation Summer Institute is a program designed to empower immigrant youth with the organizing and advocacy tools to achieve social change.
 In the current political climate immigrants' lives are under attack. 
We must resist and organize!

Plazo Extendido: 2018 Instituto de liberación para jovenes

El Instituto de Verano de Liberacion para jóvenes es un programa diseñado para empoderar a los jóvenes inmigrantes con conocimiento acerca de como apoyar las políticas y leyes, herramientas de compromiso cívico y de desarrollo de campañas para construir un movimiento para la justicia social.Los jóvenes participarán en discusiones críticas sobre los sistemas de opresión y privilegios, acceso a la educación, LGBTQ, injusticia racial, desigualdad económica, estrategias de resolución de problemas, y mucho más. 
*Participantes recibiran una beca*

Los participantes obtendrán habilidades de política de inmigración, defensa de la deportación, planificación de campañas, compromiso cívico, asuntos sociales, organización comunitaria, y tendrán la oportunidad de asistir a eventos de justicia social y defensa, oficinas legislativas para reunirse e interactuar con funcionarios electos y líderes comunitarios. 
¡El instituto tiene como objetivo capacitar a los jóvenes a entender problemas sociales y aprender a como apoyar el cambio social!

Fechas del programa: 10 sesiones (10 a.m. -5 p.m.)
14 de junio, 16 de junio *, 19 de junio, 20 de junio, 23 de junio *, 
26 de junio, 28 de junio, 30 de junio *, 3 de julio, 5 de julio (* sábados)
Graduación del programa: 9 de julio (5:30 -7: 00 PM)
